
Reformation Service Combined Choir: First Practice October 2- All are welcome to sing with the combined choir for the annual Reformation Service to be held at Knox Presbyterian Church on October 26 at 10:30am. Rehearsals will begin on Thursday, October 2nd at Knox Church, continuing every Thursday evening from 7- 8pm. Please join your voices in praise to God, as the choral tradition continues at this annual service!
Over 55 Group: October 3 -We will be meeting on Friday, October 3 at 10am. Join us for refreshments, fellowship, and song.
Life Chain: October 5:- Oxford County Right to Life would like to invite you to its annual Life Chain taking place on Sunday, October 5th. Join thousands across Canada standing against abortion in a peaceful, prayerful demonstration! Join us from 2-3pm at Museum Square, 466 Dundas Street in Woodstock. Please meet at 1:45pm.
Bowling: Begins October 6:- Monday bowling at C&D Lanes will start up again on Monday, October 6 at 2pm. Afterward everyone is invited for coffee and goodies at Joe & Jennie Vries.
Thanksgiving Chapel at Woodstock Christian School: October 8:- As part of our school community, we hold regular chapel services that offer a time for reflection, encouragement, and togetherness. We would like to warmly invite you to join us for our upcoming chapel on October 8 at 8:45am in the school auditorium.
Adelaide Soup Kitchen: October 17, November 21 & 28- We are looking for volunteers to help with the soup kitchen on Friday, October 17 and Friday, November 21 & 28. We start at 9:30am and would love some help.
Songs My Father Sang to Me: October 18- Reverend Mark Curtis, Canada’s Singing Priest, delivers a musical sermon beginning at 2pm. Hosted by Old St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 732 Dundas Street in Woodstock. Good will offering. Refreshments to follow.
Guatemala Mission: October 23-3- Our trip to Guatemala is approaching quickly with plans to leave October 23. We have been busy organizing and ordering supplies, implants, and medications. We have many people signed up for hip and knee replacements and are excited to offer them these life-changing surgeries. Please support this mission in prayer. Thanks from Camp Shalom- Thank you everyone who helped out to make the annual fair such an incredible success. Your support by donations, helping out at the booths, and attendance is very much appreciated. As of last weekend $64,850 was raised. More than any other past fairs, with more money still expected.
